We recently had a visiting lecture from the graphic design company Music. The designer Anthony Smith spoke about a number of different jobs he had done within the time he'd spent at Music and gave us some advice about the industry. He also Bought in his portfolio and other pieces of work for us to take a look at.

One thing I found really useful was a list of key points informing us of how to handle an interview.

What's Important at Interviews:

• Presentation
• Be clear - what the brief was, how you answered it
• Be positive about your work
• ATTITUDE at interviews, placements and jobs always ask questions, be interested, make yourself useful
• Ask for other contacts
